Addressing a public assembly in Behala yesterday, Adhikari stated, “If Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was not there, this nation would have been an Islamic nation and we might be residing in Bangladesh. In the event that they (TMC) got here again to energy, West Bengal will change into Kashmir.”

“Nandigram will not be a problem for me. I’m going to Nandigram to defeat her (Mamata Banerjee) and ship her again to Kolkata. I thank the nationwide celebration management for the duty given to me. The BJP on Saturday fielded Adhikari from Nandigram towards TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee, setting the stage for a high-profile contest from the seat within the state meeting elections.

Adhikari’s identify figured within the BJP’s first record of 57 candidates for the March-April meeting elections, out of which six are girls and one seat ( Baghmundi) has been given to the All Jharkhand College students Union (AJSU).
