Bharatiya Janata Get together (BJP) chief Suvendu Adhikrai will file his nomination papers from the Nandigram constituency in poll-bound West Bengal on Friday. Adhikari is pitted in opposition to chief minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief Mamata Banerjee.

Addressing a rally on March 6 within the Muchipara space in Durgapur after the BJP introduced his candidature from Nandigram, Adhikari stated that he would defeat Banerjee and ship her again to Kolkata. He added that he would drive the TMC out of Bengal and be sure that the BJP emerges victorious in Nandigram and throughout the state. Reiterating his earlier level that Banerjee would lose by 50,000 votes on this election, the BJP chief stated throughout the rally that he would give up politics if he fails to defeat her.
In the meantime, Banerjee on Tuesday accused the BJP of taking part in the ‘Hindu Card’ in Nandigram and additional warned it to not bask in communal politics. She filed her nomination from Nandigram on Wednesday.
