Late German clothier Karl Lagerfeld’s collections of art work and furnishings shall be bought at public sale in Monaco this autumn, public sale home Sotheby’s stated in an announcement.

Sotheby’s stated it would take about two months to take a listing of all of the objects in eight Lagerfeld residences in France and Monaco.

Lagerfeld, who died Feb. 19, 2019, was a compulsive collector who additionally often bought a few of his collections all through his lifetime. A set of Artwork Deco furnishings and objects bought by Sotheby’s in 2003 raised near 7 million euros.

Sotheby’s stated it was too quickly to estimate how a lot the public sale would possibly increase.
