The San Diego Zoo has vaccinated 9 nice apes for the coronavirus after a troop of gorillas in its Safari Park grew to become contaminated.
Officers say 4 orangutans and 5 bonobos obtained COVID-19 injections in January and February.
Three bonobos and a gorilla are also anticipated to obtain the vaccine, which is experimental.
