With blue and gray collar jobs again in demand, start-up placement agency Vahan on Friday stated it has reached 1 lakh milestone of offering employment alternatives by way of its WhatsApp API (utility programming interface) enabled chatbot, Mitra.
There was a rise of 400 per cent since 2020 and these employees have been positioned in a number of blue/grey-collared jobs in sectors similar to logistics, supply, and BPOs, the corporate stated in a press release.
Commenting on the milestone, Vahan Founder and CEO Madhav Krishna stated, “Our partnership with WhatsApp permits us to seamlessly join employers and job seekers thereby facilitating higher livelihoods and monetary inclusion particularly for underprivileged households.”
